Due Date Club December 2002:hi I am back after illness

Name: hetal Hi there I am back on board after 1 week as I had viral fever. My doc suggested me MOX and crocin. I am better now but still do have cough.I hope my baby does not get hurt in any way due to my fever. Even my hb had gone down drastically to 7.8 please let me know if anybody else has taken mox in preg?

hi hetal,
a preg book says that the placenta does a verrry good job of filtering before anything reaches the baby. so fever & cold virus generally just cant get through the placenta...so dont worry about passing it to the baby & ofcourse u r taking the medicines ur dr has prescribed so u should be fine in no time...take care.

Hmmm

Soory to know that u ve been sick. I too had low hemoglobin & i was on iron pills...... But it didnt work much so i was given Iron shots.... I t is very common prob of indian women, Dont worry about it..... About Mox i dont know but if ur doc has given that then u have to keep faith in him & understand that nothing will go wrong.......

Hi Hetal,

Good to hear from you. Take care of yourself as it is very important to be in good health throughout pregnancy. Donot worry much about what has happenned, just now-onwards take care of yourself as a small kid.

Thank God that you are OK now. I donot have much idea about low hb. Better ask your doctor.
