Me and babies r fine. I wanted to know if u started Eeshu on solids and if so from when and what all u give.
I heard that in India after 3 months they will give, my doc says after 4 months only but some of my frends started after 3 months.
I wanted to know ur experience on this.

Eesha is doing Great..Everyday there is something new to learn 'bout her & she is growing very fast. How's Nisha & Neha doing ?? they must be very naughty now like Eesha.

as far as solid foods r concerned i'm waiting for her to be ready for solid foods. She is 3 months & 10 days old now. My doctor also told me to wait atleast for 4 to 6 months. coz baby can be on totally breastfeed up to 6 months. But u know in india they said u should introduce solids as soon as possible otherwise babies don't like it later. So we can introduce solids as soon as the babies r ready & to recognize the signs of readiness for solids r :
1. If she can hold her head. this allows a clear passage for food to pass through.
2. And if she begin chewing motions.
3. she uses tongue to move food into the mouth instead of pushing it out.

So, the first sign is very necessary in all of this. when Eesha is able to hold up her head then i'll try the solids.

Whenever u wanna introduce solids..start with rice cereal & don't use the cereals with added fruit or vegetable until they r 8 to 10 months of age & don't use any added salt or sugar coz babies don't need this. One of my friend whose baby is 2 months elder than Eesha she introduce solids a week before & she said she start with mashed apple then she gave her khichadi after 2 days & then mashed banana & her daughter digest it all & now she is giving her cereals & also these things & boiled & blended vegetables too. I'll also try all these things when Eesha is Ready.
