my baby iz 5 months old..i use j&j body wash to wash her n shampoo for her hair..give her daily oil bath with almond oil..but i wunt use any sort of creams lotions etc for her body n face after bathing not even powder..i dunt beleive in those...but my hubby asks me to apply creams,lotions etc..he feels satified that itz sort of more care with baby..iz it ok to use those??which brand i can use??plz help sweet mom replied. There is nothing wrong in washing your babys face with soap.you can use the tear free ones.as long your baby is not allergic to these products you can use it.the reason for using lotion is after bath the babys skin may dry up so retain the moisture it is recommended to use lotions.but when iam in india because of the hot wether and humidity i use powder.till now i have used only J and J products.it is working really well. sumi replied. hi sumi,,thnk uuu..sumi i already bought seba med products here..but i never tried it for her.bcuz i have seen petroleun ingredients in it..wunt thiz petroleum products make baby's skin dark?i heard it b4..and u will apply body lotion to bosy n cream for?? i have seba med rash cream but never used bcuz she downot have rashes n she iz on diaper now potty trained.using j&j powder ok??if we wash with milk wunt the face smell bad?u will wash with milk powder or fresh milk??i heard that soem people will wash with coconut milk.i will apply cocnut oil for her hair. neha replied. Hi Sumi, while giveing your child abatth you should wash her face with Milk don't apply saop, but for creams and lotions Johnson&Johnson is good no side eefect i am applying it to my duaghter everyday from her birth till date no side effect Johnson baby body lotion, Johnson baby Vaseline, and if your baby is on daiper then apply her Johnson baby rash creame all are good well some baody even told me SEBAMID is also good but frankly i have never tried.
