We got very disheartening experience from Dr. Amit Patki, when we took ivf treatment for my sister.

If you wish to carry out your ivf treatment with Dr.Amit Patki, then be preapred for the following:-

1) You have to sit in the hospital waiting room from 8 am to 5 pm. ( 9 hours) during your ivf cycle course every alternate days, for 25 days.
2) You DO NOT have choice of doing blood test for harmone level monitoring from the reputed lab of your choice and convinience.
3) Cost of travel, time, convinience and is more than cost of blood test carried out at Regenesis for the sake of \" cut-practice\" .
4) though the patients are sitting for 8-9 hours, their doctors consultation will last not more that 2 mins. However, you may notice that your first consultation will last longer in view of trap the patients.
5) You will not be given any patient records (sonography reports, and other clinical documents)
6) Success rate is very low contrary to the projected.


Bina replied. I am referring to Dr. Ameet Patki at Fertility Associates, Khar, i would like to clarify for others the following.
I am currently undergoing my IVF with him.
1) Waiting time is about an hour which i think is same with all doctors considering their schedules
2) I did my blood tests wherever i wanted, and suburban diagonstics beign in the same delivers reports quickly and directly to doctor, so actually it saves time.
3) Cost of travel, time, convenience is required to be spent to gain something.. no gain without pain
4) Dr. Ameet, himself attends patients including on all the visits. This gave me very positive feeling as the senior doctor himself monitors your case personally.
5) All my reports are returned to me after they have taken their notes. Yes, internal study and scan reports are maintained by them..
6) Success rate - I will update this after my results.. due for egg retrieval tomorrow so results should be out by first week of May 20113. Sandy replied. hey friends,

we have been trying to unsuccessfully conceive for over 2 years now. I was now planning to meet Dr. Ameet Patki...have scheduled an appointment next week....could all of you here please help me get reviews about him?? Please... or anyone else there who you think is better when it comes to infertility treatment... M Kumar replied. Same is the case with most of the infertility doctors as people are ready to spend any amount of money and time for this sensitive issue.
