Hi guys,
I have a 14 mnth old son. He is still breastfeeding though not very frequently. But whenever he feels like it he comes to me & asks for it..rather fights for it..i try to distract him but not many times. Kindly suggest some remedy to take him off breast feeding. Hes a healthy child & eats properly. He doesnt like bottle feeding. Has milk in the morning by vati. Please suggest. thanks

hello
there is no probblem in breastfeeding 14 month old baby. one year or one and half year is ok. we have to breast feed our babies. it is not a bad thing.

but if u want to wean u can do it now. nothing wrong in it. but it'll take sometme. we have to be patient and comfort the baby.

give him bottle take him in ur lap and cuddle and try to feed from bttle. also try to fill him wth other foods. fruts, cereals anythng he likes. give him bottle. also cuddle him more. try all ths dear. slowly he'll change his habit. it will take some time.

also if he cries also, once you stopped giving breat STOP. even he cres also take him and comfort him take him for awalk or if grandparents r there take him to them. first few sdays it;ll be Very difficult. trust me, he'll be ok i a few days.
