hi,
i had a c section 7 months back
2 months after delivery i had lud inserted,
thouhg i din have any intercourse till my baby was612 months
i had slight bleeding till four and half months after my delevery, my doc said there is nothing to worry about that.immediatly after 15 day after that my normal peroids started.
after 2 cycles of normal peroids only i had the intercourse but now my peroids is getting delaid is it anything to worry about??
is regular check up required after lud??
as i got allthis done in india and now i am in US
i just want to know how offen one has to go for checkup after delivery ? console replied. In US doctors recommend 6th week check up after insertion of iud.If it is Mirena iud it is normal to have less periods or no periods.you can check for its strings.if it is in the normal position then there is nothing to worry.sometimes the string gets coiled and soft that you may not be able to find it out.but it is good that you select a gyno near you and give her a call and have a check up.
after delivery you just have to get a 6th week check up and pap smear test at your normal papsmear schedule.
