Helo Doctor,

Iam Smita . I have 71/2 months old son .He takes solid food very happily so i have stopped giving him any breast feed from 2/3 days .The questions to you are

1. Is it ok if i stop breast feeding the baby of 71/2 months old which i have done already.

2. Also pls let me know if the intake of his formula milk is sufficient or not or shud i give him some more formula milk

3. Does baby need more milk if they are having solid food ??


Iam giving you his diet routine as follows...


10:00 am : cerelac followed by 5-10 ml water

1:00 pm : rice mixed with veg soup or khichadi followed by 5-10 ml water

4:30 pm : home made rice cerel followed by 5-10 ml water

7:30 pm : cerelac followed by 5-10 ml water


10:30 pm : rice with vegetables or khichari or kheer followed by 5-10 ml water

5:30 am : formula milk(200ml) Lactogen 2.

Pls guide me whatever iam doing is right or wrong .
