i just checked with my dr. she said that its normal. she also said that i need to switch to polyvisol multivitamin without iron. she also told to complete this dosage, but reduce to 0.5 to alternate days.my baby has all his front,up and bottom, teeth and now he is ready for premolars.

priya, i give polyvisol multivitamin drops with iron(100%)1.0.my dr said until his body was receiver, it was accepting.i give it directly in his mouth. it smells bad.
Thanks hetal, its normal and dr said the blackish colour on teeth will go by regular brushing.i was surprised after reading your post, my dh was reading the packet of drops and it was written that it might happen.
Thanks kiran, priya, hetal.this was my first post here and i wasnt sure of the answers. But i can surely rely on people here.

Prerna,
Still mixing polyvisol multivitamin in milk or baby food will held diluting it but not reducing final amount that baby has to get. This dilution will positively impact on tooth color, try to avoid providing direct in mouth.

Advait never liked it either in milk unless I really mixed it 1 ml in 6OZ milk or so. He was one smart kid who would know it's not milk and formula even if it was mixed 1:1 proportion and would not take it. I'd to be persistent and considered to be good source of vitamin D, especially in western world where keeping baby in early morning sun is not common.

Hi Prerna,
I've been giving Aryan Trivisol (vitamin drops)since he was 6mnths of age as recommended by his ped. I started with 0.5ml and now its 1.0ml. He has 7 teeth now and there is no discoloration.
I think u shld talk to his ped about his teeth turning black. She would be best person to advice U.
Hope this helps,
regards,
kiran

I am using Polyvisol for Dylan. It is a vitamin, you add 1.0 ml of drops to the milk or cereal. How are you giving the drops?

hi,
as to my knowledge, thre are 2 polyvisol drops, one with vit a and d and the other is multivitamin, wherein one is normal the other is with iron. however if you are using any drops which provides 100% iron to the infant, in such cases discolouring of teeth is common !
snce your dr has recmded it, you dont want to stop it, but you can reduce the dosage to one time less than what you are giving currently..talk to your dr.

hp this helps.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
