HI! everybody, I am a new visiter to this site. Myself and My sweetheart were eagerly waited for this first pregnancy for 3 years. By God's gracy now I am carring twins. As this is the 1st twins in both of our family histry, our parents r worrying much. So for my pregnancy was quite enjoyable except the morning sickness during 1st trimester. But now my tummy is as big as 9 month, heavy and finding very difficulty to stand and walk. Now I am suffering from primery heamorroids which made me to worry. When I consulted my Gynao she replied this is due to the heavyness of the tummy and there is no treatment till the delivery. My EDD is sep 29th. Due to multiple birth there is possibility of preterm delivery. So, advised me not to walk till end of eight month. I am still going for a job and try to continue. As my husband is working with me in the same office I feel very comfortable to work till last moment. I am scared to sit at home all alone which leads me to home sickness. As we are in U.A.E. we arranged my mother's presence here during my delivery. Hope her visa will be ready by end of this week and booked ticket for 8th sep. Eargly waiting for my mom's arrival. ]

When doctor did the scanning on my third month, we noticed some split in the three month old sac. Really myself and my doctor got confused at first. After a while, she did thorough scanning and smiled at me telling so lucky to have twins. This twins is after a long time in that hospital. I could not believe that. I was happy as well as got scared at first. When we informed this to all our friends over here, everybody was happy. Whereas our parents got scared. That even my mom, she cried literally over phone as this is my first pregnancy after 3 years and we r faraway from them. Then I convinced her that the medical world is improved too much to worry. Only my tongue convinced her but my heart was full of worries. Then I brought my mind up that anyhow I have come across this situation. I prayed a lot and did meditation to calm down my mind and heart. Started go through babyzone multiple birth stories as per the suggestion given by one of my friend in States and shared my fears and feeling with her. She is the one who clarified my doubts and helped me to overcome this fear mentally.

During 6th month itself I felt movements of the babies. Whenever my doc did scanning and sonogram, she smiled at me and said the kids r very active. They were kicking doc's hands while she did scanning and sonogram. On my last visit on 12th aug, One was in head down position whereas the other was in head up position. Still hopes r there both will come in proper position for normal delivery. My tummy is as big and heavy as 9 month. So, doc advised me not to walk and take more rest. I can start walking after end of nine month. But now a days I am finding very difficult to stand and walk. I am struggling to sleep also. Not getting sound sleep. Waiting for the day to come. The movements also too much. Some time I experiance terrible pain and feel like crying. My Husband is really taking care of me very much. And my mom will be here by 12th of sep.

anupama replied. Wow! Having twins! Must be a great feeling. But, arent you scared? Here, I am expecting for the 2nd time and my elder son is 4 1/2 years old, but I am still wondering how I am going to manage two kids! Imagine 2 at the same time! You are lucky! All the best to you.
I am in Mumbai and due on 15th Sept., but my doc says D-Day will be before 5th Sept., So I have to be ready by end of August. Just 10 more days.
But it is really wonderful to have a baby. Do you know the sex of your twins? Hope it is 2 girls- so cute.
It must be hot in UAE. Where are you in UAE. My brother in law is in Dubai.

Congrats !...Its a great feeling to be having twins !!

I also an based in the UAE...abu dhabi to be precise. Where are u from ??

And the haemorrhoids ,are i guess another symptom of the third trimester problems...Drinking lots of water , juices and having prunes may help.

And since its so hot & humid in the UAE,,,even i havent ventured out as yet ...Hopefully by next month I'll be walking too !!

Even i though i was having twins as i was shoiwng a lot initially but u/s showed a single baby. But i was equally happy for this baby as even i had been trying for a while before i conceived this baby. So how do u feel the baby movements i am wondering!! Is it 2 times what we feel? It is so good that u r keeping good health. Ure very much correct that staying at home makes u obssessed with all babythought all the time...... but for some people there is not much choice than to stay home/......

U are the first one in the group having twins !! Congratulatiions!
I am also waiting for my mother here.
Good that U are able to work at this stage also. I have stopped working because my doctor advised me so. I have the gestational diabetes and so the doctors are careful.
Ur mother will definately get the visa. Do not worry. So do u know what are u having?
It is very interesting to know UR experiences. Initially my DH wanted twins but first ultrasound showed that we are not so lucky!
It must be very exiciting. I have seen lot of twin cases. So I feel everything goes fine. It takes lot of efforts than having a single child though. But I am sure with the help of ur monther and husband U can manage.

Do let us know ur experience of baby movements ect!!
And also about the sonography! How did u feel when u first came to know they are twince
