I am very upset for the past couple of days. Rishi's behaviour has changed ulta since we had been to chennai. He no more is called a 'shanth bachcha' and has become very adamant. He cries in the top of his voice and gets very angry when we don't give him waht he wants. Like, if he wants to go out, we have to take him, and if we don't, he screams and cries his naatak cry. Sincerely donno how to handle this.
And another thing that breaks my heart is that he doesn't come to me at all. He is more than happy to be with sis and mom and loves his dad like anything. When he is around, he doesn't need anyone else. Even if I take him forcibly, he cries and goes back to sis/shyam. donno what would be the reason. Sometimes I feel like crying when he does this.
Have to take him for his chicken pox vaccination this weekend. Paddu, has Kich had his shot? Any reaction? We are going out today (our team at office) for an outing and will go home late night only. I was not able to avoid since I had been avoiding every such things for almost 2 years now.
Ok, will get back to work. Just felt like sharing with you all. Kisses to the cuties.

Please relax; this is just the beginning. They are going to do all sorts of stuff in the coming years, thas what I have heard from the moms that I know.
Abt the concern that Rishi does not come to you, then dont worry abt that too. YOu are lucky that you have so many ppl who can take equally good care of Rishi. Here, its just me, and Yash is full chipku; he does not even go to papa that much. Even going to the bathroom is so difficult, both papa and beta are sitting right outside the door waiting for me to come out. I am so exhausted at the end of the day, and my frnds ask me , \";when are you planning to start working again?\";
I tell them that I am aleady working, am full time mom, no break no weekends no off-duty.
So, please do not worry.
Enjoy the weekend and take care.

Vrisa is exactly the same here. It's almost like ever since she tunrned one, she is going through the terrible two tantrums.. When she screams and throws tantrums, I simply ignore her and she eventually moves onto something else. She is the same with Bharat when he's around, she won't come to me. I was talking with her pediatrician about this and he said that this stage in their lives is exactly like an adolescent stage. They are going to test limits, try and push boundaries and it's up to us to set them straight. He also said that Vrisa looks to me as her 'doer'. This meaning I am the one who gets her out of bed, feeds her, changes her, puts her to sleep, bathes her, etc and also she throws more tntrums with me than Bharat and since I am the 'hard' one on her, she looks to him as the fun one. It made complete sense to me. I really don't miss her when she won't come to me and am glad she's willing to play and spend time with her papa. It's like a break for me. So look at it that way and enjoy it. They know deep down very confidently that you are always going to be there no matter what so they take full advantage of that. I wouldn't worry about it and llike Padoo said, don't give in to the tantrums. Just ignore them because you still want them to know that you are not going to bend at every little move of theirs.

I guess its the growing pangs that you're looking at.. And Rishi must be giving you a hard time since he had a hard time in Chennai. It'll pass, dont worry.
About him going to Shyam and Lata only - Thes ekids love to be played with and that's exactly what these two do with rishi all the time!! You have thousand things to do and hence cannot sit with him \";all the time\"; like they do..
I wanted to buy and send some board books - know your series - with pictures of birds flowers veggies and animals. beleive me, it is so engrossing for them that Kichu forgets whatever he is screaming for if i show him these books..
Everyone says that the only way to remove the screams is to ignore and divert them. Any response -negative or positive- can have a bad effect..
You chill and have a nice time at the outing!! We have sooo... many years ahead to get even with our children.
