hi girls,

Hope u are all doing fine.Have u girls started to do postpartum exercises?.what exercises u girls are doing.for how many mins u are doing?.i don't know what exercise to do.can anyone please help me out?.i have not started to do exercises.I am very much worried about my weight and body shape.i don't find time to do it.
Then are you girls using maternity belt.I have one but i never wear it.Is it necessary to wear it.my parents and inlaws ask me to wear it but i never hear it.I still feel that iam 6 months pregnant.How to reduce the tummy.can anyone tell me an exercise to reduce the tummy?.please do share ur views.Thanks.

hi kals,

it is very necessary that u wear belt...it will help tighten ur tummy....
and reg exercise, first find out from ur doc if u have healed completely...if so then u can start it.....u can do abs for tighten ur tummy muscles.....
and if you are breastfeeding u wld lose 1lb a month .......so combined with the exercise u wld be able to come back to ur prepregnancy shape.....but be patience it will take time....
hows sasmeta ...hope she is doing fine...she looks very cute as a lill princess

Hi Kalyani,
I had a C Section but I have started wearing a postpartum belt available at babys r us. It has really helped me a lot. As for the weight, somehow I have drastrically pull down, probably it's the diet. I am avoiding dairy products except for milk and also fatty foods. I have somehow lost interest in very spicy and oily food as well and with the baby and household chores, I guess thats the reason I've been able to loose weight.

Wear a maternity belt else you will find your tummy blow up like anything. All the best and love to all the new born kids.

Hi Kalyani,
Don't worry about ur weight.
U did not mention whether u had a normal delivery or a c-section.
In normal delivery u can start exercising after 10 days. but in case of c-section, u need to wait for first 3 months.regrading ur tummy u concentrate more on abdominal exercises.u should wear a belt. this really helps in tightening the tummy.
i am wearing a corset panty. this has helped me a lot.
please listen to ur parents and ur in-laws. start wearing a belt.
do some stretching exercises, go for brisk walks.
