Hey speak for yourself! Blaming destiny or the world in general is the resort of the coward. if you find your life in breakdown mode, take responsibility for it. Also remember that it is always in your hands to get up and resurrect yourself. There is nothing like ' in our times' . Time is ephemeral. Your ideas and your will can create something everlasting. Do you have the time to live? Then you have the time to connect with your inner child.

An expected reaction. These are words spouted by all those who want to shift their burden to someone else. If believeing that you are the controller of your destiny is egoism, then yes I am egoistic. If believing that happiness is in your own hands, then yes I am pompous. If believing that collective mourning will never lead to progress, then yes I am pompous. If believing that the world is inherently a good place with only our perceptions and priorities turning it ´ bad´ , then yes I egoistic. And I am proud to be so. Lastly, everyone has a right to comment. By questioning another´ s right to do so, you demonstrate your own narrowness of thought.

i was wrong when i pointed out that the entire world is responsibe for our state of affairs.

i was also worng when i said that nobody was to blame. it is pompous and egoisitc people like Ahalya only who is to blame for the world´ s suffering.

their bloated ego gives them the right to comment on eveerything.

You know these kind of articles are really about finding the inner id**t within. They make no sense and you can see through them. What we need to do is focus on our priorities and deal with what really matters to us. Being in la la land is not going to help us live better unless one is in mental asylum

If I was to live my life following the advice of pseudo scientific studies, I would end up losing all sense of good living. Isn´ t that about being independent and taking difficult and sometimes unbalanced risks rather than ´ dealing with stress´ .

Footloose,
I think I would rather be honest and end up in a mental asylum rather than be a coward and deliberately misunderstand the truth of our existence, which is hard and sometimes fruitless.

I wonder what an inner child is really, if not our true self. We should listen to our inner voice, never dismissing it, but also avoid jumping to conclusions..

How exactly do you define ´ la la´ land? Studies have proven that feeling happy improves your health and thus your productiviy. Stress hampers mental wellbeing. Is being mentally and physically healthy not a priority with you? It is when you separate your feelings and your actions that problems occur. To bring about a synthesis between the two, for equilibrium, you need to get in touch with your spirit. Such articles aid you in doing that.

It is one of the curses of growing up that we shut ourselves to the beauty and happiness that surrounds us all. Our ' grown up' concerns prevent us from being bothered about the litte things that bring joy.

Whereas children, who seem to ' live in the moment' are always in tuoch with thus joy - here' s something we need to learn from them

agreed. but i think its something todo with the times we are livinmg in. doctors and psychos have been warnign about nthe stress levels that are really shooting upwards. where is the time for peple to loook for the inner child?

its a dog-eatg-dog world in which any one who swims against the tide is immediately dicouraged and held back. no body is ti blame really. we are all in the same boat.

Nice article. It' s always good to take a break at times. However for some reason I remember the Spiderman movie line, with great power comes great responsibility. We seem to be burdened with our responsibilities that we don' t get in touch with our \" Inner Child\" Wheres the time afterall?

Ah, the age old crutch of time. Everyones got 24 hours a day. Some change lives in that. Others destroy their own. it´ s all about how you use your time and what yuo consider to be important.

This article highlights the importance of living in the present, and believing inyour inner voice. I strongly believe in this....One should talk to one' s inner voice as much as possible.

Try this: when you wake up in the morning, meditate for ten minutes, and then just do what your heart tells you to. This way, your inner voice gets stronger...

spiritual living-igniting the Universal heart
A good spiritual practice is to start your day (each day) with purpose, intention and in the way you want to live that day. That might mean that you start your day with thoughts of love, gratitude and ease. Or it might mean that you wake up without the alarm clock and just stay in bed for a moment and affirm to yourself, “This is a beautiful day.” It might mean that... - nitin gonte [View Message]
