Routine Tests:worried/ultra sound

hello ,
I am new to this website. after 4 years I am pregnant. I had ultrasound at 7 weeks and it doesnot show any sac or fetus. I worried. doctor told to have another in next week. does that mean a miscarriage.I am worried and cant wait until next week. pls let me know

hi
i can understand your reason for worrying but i was in the same situation along with a few other fellow patients but i waited patienty and had my ultra sound in the ninth week and my fetal pole and heart beat were clearly visible, so have faith!!

Hi, I got mine done around the same time, and went to a lot of places to find it. It was seen one week later, as the conception had happened late.Though doctors ssaid that it could also be something outside uterus then. It is scary, but hold on, be positive and wait. Positivity helps.

Hi Shanu,

I can understand your fear!
I hope you are wrong and you will see everything in next U/S.

Actually at this very moment you should see it.

May be you did not conceive on the same day as you may have though based on LMP and this is why it may take a week more to show up sac.

If your Dr. has performed hCG at two different days with about 48 hours gap and they are increasing as they should then you will see the sac and nothing to worry.

Take some relief and try to rest.
