Hi.

Am new to the forum. Been trying to conceive. Got to know that 1 tube is blocked.

I tried Dr. Cherry Shah from Sujay. She is too high flying and busy for her patients. Does not spend enough time, most of the times not available at Sujoy (always insists that I see her in Lilavati), and doesnt even remember your case if you call her in time of emergency.

Can you please suggest a good gynec in and around Andheri, Vile Parle area?

Besides this...if anyone who has faced or is currently going through the condition similar to mine are invited to share their experiences. It will help me.

I was going through Aug/Sept 13 edition of India Today and read about the top doctors of Bombay and Dr Cherry Shahs' name was mentioned.Then going through this website found derogatory comments by B,PCOS and was very surprised as I was also under the treatment of Dr Shah when I visited Bombay in 2010 and I found her to be an amiable and capable doctor.I had an uterus infection and was hospitalized for a week in Australia. When my parents rang the doctor from Bombay to enquire about my welfare and even though I was IN his hospital for a week he said \" I don' t remember the case\" . I took it in my stride as doctors are humans and how can a busy doctors remember ALL his/her patients-both in-patient & out patient- whom they treat all 24 hours of the day ? His not remembering my case had no impact on my recovery and I recovered my health in the a few weeks time. She has been nominated twice by India Today and practices in Lilawati Hospital as well- an International renowned hospital-and they would not have let her practice there had they not been satisfied with her educational qualifications and caliber. LS replied. totally agree with you. she just doesnt remember you or your case!
besides she doesnt know ANYTHING about PCOS.
i was with her for one and half years. suffered 2 miscarriages and became 11 kgs overweight. she had no clue about wht shd be done for a pcos patient. i wasted my time with her.
i moved to dr. dadina (pedder road) and delieverd a baby last year.

She is one of the best doctors I have met and has been my angel through my rough phase (I couldn' t conceive and she helped me cope with it but also my in-laws ... if you know what I mean)
She is a doctor who is always available and just the fact that I am taking some time out to reply to your ignorant comment says how much I respect and admire her ... God Bless her and give you strength in this time of need to make the right decision and go meet her (sometimes the only the doctor knows why she chooses to call us at another hospital rather than the one convenient to us ... trust me it is for the best) RN replied. I have the same condition of one tube blocked. You should try with one tube only. though it reduces you chances a little, you can still still conceive.
Better avoid any surgery as much as you can,as it can sometimes cause harm to the good tube also.
I am currently trying with one good tube only.
