hi friends

i am new to the board, i have seen your earlier postings. even i am facing the same problems.
u know i have two kids ( 3yr and 1yr), both in terrible ages.
i will leave them with our maid.

my day starts at 5.00 morning, i have to prepare breakfast, our lunch boxes, snack box for elder one ( going to play school ), sterlise bottles, feeding my son and preparing his school bag etc.
here in dubai office starts at 7:30 only so our maid will arrive at 6:30 and we both will start at 7:15Am leaving kids with maid.
Evening i will reach home at 6:00pm then one more day starts for me. maid will leave at 6:30 after feeding the younger one. by the time i arrives she will cut the veggies (for that night and next day morning) and keep ready. i will come home and finish my cooking before she leaves. then i will relax and play with my kids for 1hr time and then other battle starts, feeding the elder one. i have to tell him so many stories. my hus will take care of our younger one and make him to sleep by the time i finish feeding elder.
then we will relax sometime sparing time for his rhymes,teaching him shlokas etc. and other activities, then we will have dinner and go to bed by 9:00PM.
belive me or not this is our daily routine.

week ends will be more horrible because i will not have any rest on that day since maid will not arrive.

One good thing is we got really very good maid who takes care of our kids nicely. she is there with me since my elder son was born. but still i feel it will be good if i would have my parents or inlaws here with me.

so i feel u people are lucky that u have ur parents or inlaws with u atleast u r getting some help from them.

Hey, to you the Mom -MIL staying back looks good, to us, the good maid taking nice care of the kids sound heavenly!!

Guess grass is greener on the other side, always!!!

\";neway. Lucky you that you're able to get a nice lady (after those horrible stories of kids being ill-treated in Kuwait etc) who's good to the kids.

How're the lil ones. Tell us more about them. And where are you basically from.
