My baby is exerting so much pressure while passing potty . Sometimes she even cries while exerting pressure in her sleep . Is it happening with your baby too ? Is it normal ?

Hi Ritu,
Do not worry. even my baby does the same thing. the moment he is about to do his potty, he exerts a lot of pressure and keeps his body stiff. cries only when the potty is a little hard otherwise not. but exerting pressure is common. it is hilarious but in my baby's case the way he exerts pressure, he holds my and my mom's hand very tight. we often say that he does potty as if he is taking labor pain.
but the moment he finishes, he is very happy and playful.
u don't have to worry at all.
just always check whether the potty is hard or smooth.
