I left my house under really bad circumstances, I have been living on my own since past 4 months. I am the only child of my parents, but they have never been able to relate to me or understand me. I have always been kind of a black sheep in my family. The whole fiasco started, when i told my parents that i like a girl( from the same religion) and want to get married to her. They threw a major fit, that she is not financially upto our level and a lot of other crap. I tried talking to them and convincing them, but to no avail they started making my life more difficult. They finally broke the straw, on the day they went to my girlfriends house and abused her family and completely character assassinated my girlfriend. I moved out of my house the day my parents did this. Even after my moving out they haven' t stopped with their antics. They have been calling my girlfriends family and abusing her dad on the phone. They are having me followed and tapping my phone, all this is causing me a lot of mental harassment. I am looking for advice, opinions or even suggestions on how do i deal with this. Tara replied. You should marry the woman you love! Marriage to a woman you do not love will cost you more grief then the amount of money that this woman and her family do not have. Can' t you get a job, marry this woman and move in with her family while you save money for your own home? You are your parents only son, once they see you are set on your choice they will be forced to accept it, otherwise they will have to live their life without you in it or their grandchildren.
