I am very glad that Trisha's ear piercing went well. I am sure she must be looking very pretty.. In my case, dr didnt give me any antiseptic lotn. All I do is clean the area couple of times with rubbing alcohol and turn the earring. Before doing this I make sure my hands are properly washed. Other than this, I take precaution that water, or tears dont go near that area. You know, I had bought this shower hat from India, which is really helpful in giving Nikku headbaths. Also, personally I feel not to apply oil there, as the wound is very fresh.. But again, its my personal opinion. I hope the healing process goes smoothly for Nikku as well for Trisha.. hope this helps..
Chalo yaar, bye 4 now,
Bhairavi.

Sheeja

I am sure ur daughter must be looking cutie pie with earrings.

We got my D’s ear pierced 6 weeks back , applied antiseptic lotion twice a day and she did not have any problem.

Please use that lotion twice a day and rotate earring twice. You can clean the pierced area with ear buds.
Please do not apply oil because oil keeps skin moist for longer and coz of sweat and little dust, ... bacteria can grow there very easily. Antiseptic lotion will not allow growing bacteria. If you feel pierced area is red or swollen , contact pediatrician ....that wont happen though :-)

VIMP - Please do not forget to take a snap of cutie pie with earrings.

Enjoy.
Suchie.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
