hi girls. well, shreya too sleeps in the lap or shoulder and at night on my tummy and the moment i put her down on the bed, she starts kicking to be picked up! well, doc says sleeping patter sets afte 6-8 weeks, so still time there. And for settling baby for night time, when the weather is better, i hope to set a routine, like giving her a bath in the evening and not day time and then feed and sleep.
Discovery health showed a good program, on baby whisperers recently. They showed, mum could feed and put the baby in the crib and father could take charge of settling baby down until next feed is due. This way baby bonds with both parents and also both parents get break and baby learns to settle easier.
As for mums breatfeeding, babies always take longer to burp or wind with mums since they smell the feed...so fathers should take charge on this.
Well, here are thoughts I will be working on...for now, Shreya has been crying to be picked up...yet again.
All the best.
Happy weekend all.
Simmi

Hey Jaya and Avi,

Same here also. My daughter always wants to sleep on mine or my husband's shoulder and when we put her down she wakes up. But, I have tried one thing, when she falls a sleep on my lap on the pillow, I just put the whole pillow in the crib or on the bed and that makes her sleep for a while.
Try this.

Take care
Arshiya

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
