Hi,

I have been using huggies from day 1. I am in Melbourne..Though it is summers here it is not very humid.I would recommend that you try disposable ones for a day or two and see how you go..Doctors over here have told me that chance of a nappy rash is lower with disposable diapers as their absorb much better..and yes I change them every 3 hours or so..roughly 8 diapers a day..try not to use any cream till u see a bit of a rash...even in that case try Vaseline first instead of normal nappy rash creams on ur baby's skin..Huggies are really good..the only thing u will have to ascertain is how good they are for Bombay's weather.

Take Care - Ritu

Hi Jaya,

Even I've been using diapers since day one, but I am using Pampers swaddlers. Very soon, I'll be switching to Huggies. I guess, the brand doesn't matter as long as it is okay with the baby's skin. If someone were there to wash the cloth diapers, I would have definitely gone for it if the baby developed rashes.

Hope it helps,
Vindhya

Thanks Ab and Ritu,
Yesterday I tried huggies nappy pads.Looks to be quite good.Doctor said not to use them because it is something which we are buying from the market and using them. But I feel huggies is a reliable brand used all over the world.
Haapy diapering:)

hi...
as long as u take care that baby doesn't develop rash, it should be fine. as u live in mumbai humidity will be on the higher side so be sure baby's genitals area doesn't get very damp.

i am using huggies diapers, since nov. as bangalore temp. has dropped, i am using diapers thruout the day except for a couple of hours when i air her. i apply johnson baby cream every time i change her diaper - which i do in every 4-5 hours....

hope this helps..
ciao

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
