Hi.

Its so nice to see that we all are doing preparations for our baby's first year B'day....Isn't it amazing..an year back we were dicussing the kicks, how they feel, pregnancy details etc etc and now we are discusiing how to celebrate our little ones B'day..wow time flies..

Anyways, my daughter Sanya's B'day is on November 20th..I am looking for a nice restaturant to host her B'day party...I know Royal Albert Palace and Akbar ( I had my baby shower here:-)) are good picks..

Rg and Devi, if you don't mind can you tell me how much are respective restaurants charging you for the party...I could get the quote from them but just wanted to know if there is any room of negotiations and if so how much...I thought since we all are nov board buddies, I could ask you..

That will be really helpful....

Hey RG,

Royal Albert Palace charges 20 per head with 20% deputy tax so totally its coming up to 25 per head. And if you want it on a Saturday then its more exp. I guess 30 per head. We have it on a Sunday so its 25 per head.

How's Sanya doing? So u're preparing for her bday too...thats nice! At akbar's they're charging us $20 per person, but i have a party for abt. 40-45 people...if you have more guests i'm sure u can negotiate atleast upto $18. Also i'm in Long island which is far more costlier that NJ, so at NJ you might get a little less rate.

Hey u sd u had your baby shower at akbar's....how was their arrangement et all? Can u please suggest some good vegetarian food they serve either for appetizer or main course. Any other suggestion you might have for them are also welcome.
