i am 33 weeks pregnant and have gained only 5 kgs till now. my doc says as long as the growth of baby is okie u need not worry about your weight so chill and don' t think much about it.

Weight Gain

Hi Friends,

I have gained 21 lbs (9.3 kgs) and in my 7th month now. My doctor told me that on an average women during pregnancy gain about 30 lbs (13.3 lbs). A little + or - should be OK. I know women who gained 60 lbs during their pregnancy but all came back to normal weight later. Anyways, always remember " EVERY WOMEN IN PREGNANCY IS DIFFERENT" . So, don´ t worry about it. And enjoy your pregnancy.

My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. Ravs, your ideas are out of date, since your sis is in NJ she should join a good prenatal class [Lamaze, Bradley etc] and get updated information, also her physician will guide her on diet and her self care please don' t give her advise based on the info in this mail of yours. Not to worry

If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
