Hi all,
How are you all. Have beem busy the past mnths.

Since Spt, when I started to work, we started leaving K in day care. But he kept falling sick one after the other - ear infection, throat infection, diarrhea, vomiting et al. In all 3 mnths, he went in only for 3 weeks. He would visit the day care to get the latest virus updates. It was sooo bad. Also, he started feeling insecure and would start crying at the sight of the car. Doc started warning us abt psycological issues that might arise in the kid.

So, then we decided to get my parents. Had them do the visa. When they did finally receive it hubby got a surprise vacation sanctioned for 3 weeks in Dec. We were so excited since K's bday was on Dec 9. Bought the tkts overnight and grabbed all K stuff from home and left for India.

When we rached Mds, we were caught in the rain, and could not even reach home. The airport was flooded in water, nobody had come to receive us. We had to check into a hotel and go home the next day. After inital settling hiccups, K started settling down. We had a small gathering of our apt folks to celeberate his bday, since it could not invite people coz of the rain.

Had his mundan, his ears pierced, and a trip to the village to meet his great grandparents. Got back last week. Since then K has been down with throat infection.

And the best part, I have quit my job to take care of him, and get him over his insecurity.

Abt my surgery, am still waiting for the dates...

As for K updates, he has started walking. But he seems to have severe diarrhea and vomiting while teething. And these teeth too, they come in singles. SO by the time we get over the mess created by one, the next is right after. Hubby wants to see him with all his teeth already!!!!

Welcome back!! Sorry to hear you were stuck in the rains at Mds!! And K's b'day too in the midst of all that!!

You're really great to have quit your job to be with K. I was always looking forward to asking you for tips when its time to put Kichu in daycare... Now i think Sush is our only source!!
