Hope all of u doing fine with there pregnancies and coping well with the changes in the body.
Just wanted to know opinion of u all if u guys are going in for fasting on Karva Chauth or not. This is my first baby and 3rd Karva Chauth.
I am having second thoughts this time as I feel hungry after every 2-3 hours and feel uneasy if I dont eat . The first 2 fasts I kept quite religiously though.
My health and hence the baby`s health are also important for me. My husband won`t mind - I know.(althougth he teased me in a humorous manner that my priorities are changing when I told him abt this !!- )
What is ur opinion abt this ...

So what have u decided?

Girls... So whats the final decision. My mom said do the fast like other fasts and keep having fruits, juice and milk.

Thou the baby gets his bit and not eating one day wil not do much but you can feel weak or giddy or problems with blood pressure. So I dont think we shud take a chance.

Excuseme ....there is no need to be so sarcastic..This is just an informal discussion and exchanging of views..
Just for your information,although to be on the safer side one shud avoid fasting,but the baby continues to get his/her nourishment even if the mother is not eating..

Hi Preeti,

How are you doing? I am also confused what to do in karwachauth, this will be my 3rd . I think if we dont do it in proper way then we shud not keep it. becoz in other fast u can eat thruout day. but this one is different.
Its good that I got some more ppl thinking in same direction.

Hello Preeti, Just like you it will be third karvachauth for me and my first baby is due in Jan.
I dont think I will be able to fast on karvachauth as it wont b good for the baby. I am sure the husbands will be understanding.
