Due Date Club November 2003:Swelling?

Hi everyone!
I have a quick question for everyone. Any of you have swelling already? I have been swelling on my face since last 3 - 4 days. I don't know what's wrong, even ppl at my work notice it.
Do any of you know what to do in this case? I have doc's appt. tomorrow, so I will ask her.

i too have swellingon my face fingers n feet .im in my 20th week n not sure if swelling is ok at this stage. my friend told me that it could be becos of fluid retention n told me to have lots of liquid which i have but even that dint help me.then she said it could be because of high bp asked me to get it checked regularly have an appointment with the doc on 2nd of august will find out then .do tell me what did ur doc had to say about it.

Hi Arshiya,
hey u know yesterday two of my colleagues mentioned that my face and nose looked swollen.i was taken aback.But you know what one of them said that this means you are carrying a baby girl and the other one said you might be carrying a baby boy.well it was so exciting...ultimately the guessing still remains.
do check with your doc about the swelling and let me know too..
hey i too had a dream about my baby and it was something like i delivered the baby in just 5 minutes and he/she was playing with me immediately with me.my hubby asked whether i saw a girl or boy..and then i wondered that i never cared to find that in my dream and was busy playin with him/her..
each day is so exciting isint it!!!!

Hi Arshiya

How are you doing? I also have some swelling, though its not on my face but mostly on the palms and fingers of my hands. its prominent when I get up in the morning but goes away in some time, does not last all day. My mom tells me cucumber juice is very affective on swelling so I am going to start taking that.
