I m 27 weeks already with my 1st baby and v r planning to have godh bharai(baby shower) maybe in a week or too.But as i stay in UAE and non of the relatives around i need healp of u guys to guide me wht all is needed to do.If u can plz suggest me.And do let me know when u guys gonna have ur godh bharai ceremony.Thx

Congrats for your completing 27 weeks.I think you are also excited for your baby as i m. mine Godh Bharai Ceremony is on 16th of this month as it some full moon nights begins on 9th dec to 23rd Dec and my 7th month will start on 14th Dec. We fix 16th because of Sunday. My parents, sister and sister-in-law will come to bless me and my child.
My mother-in-law told me that in this we(7 married ladies) will make 7 plates(midhiya in Punjabi) on my hair and touch oil and then they will give me sweet rice(every 7 married ladies)to eat and put mehndi on my hands. My mother will put Pink or Red dupatta on me and give whatever she bought for me and one thing for child for sagan only. rest of the child' s clothes and .... will give after birth.And we will make some pakoras to eat for all guest.That' s it.
Rest is fine.Howz your baby growing?
Tell me one thing yaar, To avoid stretch marks in future what you are doing?
