Hi all there!! I am in my 21st week of pregnancy and have a small query. I am taking naturogest 100 twice a day since 6th week of pregnancy as per my gynacs advice.Just want to know if anybody else is taking them or any other projesterone suppliment and are there any side effects..Thanks in advance.

and injection naturogest 200mg/10days
i m also confuse
have u ask ur doc about it?
plz tell me that
it is safe or not?

progesterone supplements

hi apps

i was taking progesterone supplements way past the required 14th week coz my placenta was lying low.. however, in my 18th wk scan it had moved up and so my GYN asked me to discontinue using it... also GYNs do prescribe progesterone supplements well past the average required period of time if they feel a person' s progesterone level is low in the blood tests..

it is uncomfortable to keep taking it esp if you inserting it vaginally and i couldn' t wait to stop taking it.. my suggestion is that u should take a 2nd opinion so that you know for sure that ur present doc is advising you appropriately..

Thank you very much Riya for your reply.
I had hormonal Imbalance problem when I conceived may be thats the reason,my gynac prescribed this tablets since she never mentioned anything about placenta.
I am planning to go for second opinion now just to be on the safer side.

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
