Due Date Club October 2003:Sidhu is a halloween baby

Name: Anu Hi Girls,

As I told you, I was admitted in hospital for cervix ripening on wednesay 29th. By Thursday morning I was in labour from 2:30 AM. When I was 4 cm dilated, i took epidural and by 1:30 PM, i started having severe back pain as epidural was not working for me. I had to go through all the contrations without epidural. Nurse tried other pain medications also, nothing gave me relief.
From 7 :30AM to 11:30PM i was only dialted to 7 cm. And baby's head was also not in the right position. Nurse and doc did so many things to bring the head in the correct position. At 11:30, they decided for c section. And Sidhu was born on oct 31 12:20 AM. He is weighing 9lbs 14oz and measuring 22in.

I am typing this meesage from Hospital itself. Will upload his pic in a day or two. Thank you girls for all your support duting my pregnancy.

Congrats Anu on having a lil boy..hope u will recover soon..intially 1 week is little tough but as u walk more u will be fine...i do feel little better after taking pain killer after every 4 hours..now 2nd week is little better now...take care & enjoy ur upcoming days with siddhu....

Manvi is correct I guess lot of octobermoms had c-section.Well no matter how it happens but when u saw ur baby all pain goes away.Enjoy ur every single minute with sidhu and do post his pics..
