I know its tough to teach ur baby quitting breast milk but it is necessary to do it now.remember do it gradually as i have been also exclusively breastfeeding him till now but have also started the process of discontinuing it.
Firstly stop day feeds i mean... that should be the first step.....when he is asking for milk keep the milk whatever ur planning to give cowmilk or formula ready than apply something \";kadva on ur breast like neem/karela whatever and offer him when he will refuse give him the bottle milk.every time u give him breast do that...it may happen that initially he will suck the neem applied breast also but dont give up... when every time he'll get that bitter taste he will automatically stop taking it.This was only for day feeds dont stop giving him breast all of a sudden coz it affects the baby mentally i mean continue with night feeds gradually he himself will become use to taking the other milk also ur supply will reduce at night.Try this out and remember this may take time but then start it as early as possible coz as he grows older it wil become more tough to stop breast feeding.
