anyone out there still breastfeeding?
Avi will be 1 yr old on oct 23rd....got 2 teeth...crawling around..naughty..
was wondering how to stop breastfeeding soon..he likes to eat but not too much.....been a bit fussy since teething started...

any ideas on how to stop b/feeding and how to get him to eat more? ck replied. You have to cut one feed of bm at one time, substitute with some solids for few days. Then cut another bm feed, substitute and so on. Night time feed is the last one you should try stopping. It was not possible to wean in a week for my daughter. i am too still breasr feeding. But my baby eats and wants bf only if i am around. Yes night he gets up 2-3 times. You know to stop bf is difficult. I had done it for my elder son but not planning to do with younger one. Its process of one week. Its like whenever your child demands milk do not give it take him out , play with him or if possible be away from him. Night is really difficult , you have to make him cry ,they cry so much that they even vomit but you do not surrender if u really wnat to quit. Afetr a week your baby will completely forget about bm. If possible try to give formula with spoon or glass. My son now drinls water directly from small bowl ( wati).

As i told u my son is not very fussy about the milk or anything so i am not planning to stop it right now.

i m also still bf. Virej at times throws tantrums & does not eat. he only wants milk. i too fell this is becoz of his teething phase, but........... he instead os swtchig over to food is all the more becoming stubborn for milk.
