hi all moms :)
luv to all ur little one' s...

I wanted to knw what food we can giv to babies when we r travelling?
Im planng to take Saanvi for her Mundan on july 11th by train to a place called Mantralaya.
So wat all foods can we giv?
Its difficult to carry milk because it wud get stale after sometime...

Pls giv me ur suggestions :)

Hi Prathi,
In the first month of June we also went to haridwar .It was two days trip. I took boiled water in the flask for cerlac ,bananas + chikuc and apple puree(steamed apple) in two tupperware box.For his morning breakfast i gave mashed banana. for lunch and dinner i gave ceralac . in between i gave chiku nad apple puree and parle G biscuits
Thats all. you know suhaan my little angle had enjoyed the whole trip like anything.

Hi Prathi,
You can carry boiled water in a flask and make couple of food items like below:
Milk can be made using Formula(NAN2)
Ceralac can be given
Also First Bytes Ragi/Any flavour can be given.

Also U can carry bananas and just mash in a bowl and feed..
I hope all this is useful for you.
Tried it out a couple of times with Ishan.

Hey Prathi...
Aarush was of 6 month when we travelled last time... most of the time he was on milk... and if possible i gave him cerlac....
As shilpi said u can carry Banana and other fruits that can be mashed easy...
U can also carry cheese slices if Saanvi likes it...
Some Biscuts which u can give her with milk...
Gerber brand gives u a lot of varity.... like juices, pulp and finger food... go to the market and fetch the best for Saanvi...
hope she cooperates with u in jry...
