Hi

Don' t get upset. i had it the first delivery..luckily not this time, but i controlled my carbs/sugar from the first day becoz of the first exp.
It wasn' t too easy the first time, but onc ei got the data on which causes it to increase /decrease..it did go smoothly, best part was tummy and baby were growing, i reduced..so there was not much weight gain but baby was fine.
Concentrate on whole wheat/brown rice kind of food and subsitute carbs with a load of vegetables and small meals..walking helps a lot too..
peanut butter/eggs/chicken/meat if non veg are all less carbs so will fill u up sooner..
all the best to u. just don' t worry too much, baby is fine..u may feel u r not eating much, but its more than enof..if u have small meals but healthy ones..
think anywya we overeat unhealthy foods with excuse of pregnancy/craving..which aint needed for our health or baby..it is tough at times, esp with boredom of whole foods but in between indulge in little of carbs u cannot take but walk around for more time..u will be fine. only case of 2-3 months and time will fly.
Take care
Radhika

Hi KT,
Do not worry about GD, it depends on what is the value of sugar level in your blood after meals. My doctor told me that if I can maintain it below 140 1 hr post meal by doing 15 min walk after every meal then i do not need to take insulin...So far everything seems to be going good..
Good luck to you & your baby.

Almonds are good for babies and you can give them so happily but it would be better give them by making it as milk. But in initial you give baby in minimum quantity then later increase the quantity.... - Siri [View Message]
