hi megha, am not sure if its too late a repy. anyways, i delivered a baby recently in Hyd and took epidural. It was extrmemly helpfull as it did reduce the pain, so dont worry abt labor pains. However only a well-exp doc will administer best epidural, for max pain relief. Chk wi ur clinic/hosp before hand abt epidural &the doctor. Its not ommon in all hospitals. hope this helps.
