Hi everybody,
hows everybody doing? Guess our bubs are keeping us super busy as they are always on the move.
Ishu has turned 8 months on 8th. havent got her weight checked. will do that next month when i go for her vaccination. She is crwaling at super speed but loves to stand all the time holing furniture and is taking 3-4 steps holding the furniture. She holds on to anything (table cloth, fridge, walls, sofa, table) and stands so i have to be continously with her when she is awake. Just cannot leave her alone for a moment. She has started blabering (dada, baba, aajaa, yaya, vava) but i am waiting for her to say mama, papa. :-)). she has got two lower teeth.
I have started giving her cows whole milk since last 10 tens and she seems to love this milk. She didn't like lactogen 2 at all, even giving her 2 ounces of lactogen was a struggle.
She is trying to eat on own her these days. She wants the spoon which is my hand, so i dip it in her food and give it to her. For the first 2-3 days the spoon went all over her face but her mouth, but now she puts it directly in her mouth and screams when i take it out. And the moment she sees another spoon in my hand she drops her spoon and wants the one in my hand, so we end up using atleast 6-7 spoons during each feed and feeding her takes ages but its fun..:-)))
I need your advice on her diet.
1) She is taking solids twice a days, top feed 3 times a days and BF once during the day, 3-4 times during night and first feed in the morning.
Should an 8 months old solid intake be more? and if no when should it be increased.
2) How are you giving egg to your babies. I tried giving her boiled egg(yellow) blended with milk but she didnt like it and doesnt take it at all. Any ideas on feeding egg to babies? I tried feeding her curd also but doesnt take curd at all. How are you feeding your babies curd?
3) What all new foods can i introduce now. I have started giving her marie biscuits and she plays with it more than eating it. i am giving her kichdi with veggies, dalia, and rava and ragi porridge. What else can i start now?
Do post your little ones photos?
Love to all the little ones and their mums.
Take Care
