hi..
u probably remember my post 2 weeks back; i need some advice from u.
i am ttc for 3 months now & usually have a regular cycle of 27-29 days. in june, july & aug, my periods came on CD 34, CD 35 & CD 33 respectively. i thot something was wrong and visited my gynec & took a pelvic scan; all normal;
in the month of sep, due to some travel necessities, i was unable to time intercourse during my fertile days. and my periods came on CD 27 (like before).
do u think, in the months of june, july&aug, the ovum was fertilised but cud not implant itself... causing a minor miscarriage..??? ...and thats why my periods delayed?? (bcos i normally have a very regular cycle time of 27 or 28 days)
my gynec has put me on siphene (clomiphene citrate) to be taken from CD2 to CD6. should i ask her for something to be taken around CD 30 to CD 35 to ensure implantation? (i am kinda desperate to conceive before the end of this year)
pls help me archie.
God bless u & ur family for all the support u r giving countless women on this forum.
Kindest Regards,
Krsna

You won't believe but yesterday only I was thinking about you, since I hadn't seen any post from your side for the past few days.
Like Archie said, I too got scared when I read the subject line & saw the sad icon, but thankfully nothing like that happened !
I completely agree with Archie's view that you are over-stressing yourself. Infact I also thought the same thing when you wrote that the month you were not trying, you got your periods on time....this itself explains that the worry & tension are altering your cycle length.
And moreover your gynec has examined you and didn't mention anything on miscarriage- so you should not worry my dear.
Listen, next month when you try, please do not think about the outcome...keep yourself busy during the luteal phase. Involve yourself in some household activity, go out, watch movies, spend your time with friends/family...I mean do something to divert your mind from this conception topic...who knows you may hit the bullet when you don't pay much attention to it. ( Although I hate to say this but even if you get your periods in the next cycle, do not feel sad. There are good chances that your periods come on time, if you try to remain calm & cool....and this will atleast ease your mind on the cycle length aspect- right?? )
By the way- are you trying the BBT method? Since you seem to be quite worried about your cycle length variation, I would encourage you to try this method...this will tell you about your luteal phase length and an approximate time of ovulation. This may help you understand better your cycle.
So dear, cheer up and enjoy this phase. Very soon you will be giving us a good news :-).
Best wishes.
archie replied. Krsna,
I know you from several of your posts.
I do not think it's miscarriage rather it's all due to stress you are exerting on ttc process.
Also not very comfortable with the idea of Clomid with only four cycles of failure, no matter how desperate you could be.
It's normal to see fluctuations in cycles when ttc and unless you tried for about 12 cycles without success you do not qualify to get on fertility treatment. Besides you don't have an idea of your spouse fertility. Because your periods got delayed in 3 cycles, which by the way are in normal length should not allow you to take ovulation inducers.
I may not sound the way you wanted, here I try not to encourage your false hopes.
YOu both may be healthy and it's just that you are stressing over a lot on ttc aspect, which is not allowing you to hit success. Clomid is not a miracle either and it may work or may not work, 50% chances for each.
The fertilized egg not implanted would usually results in normal periods and not *minor miscarriage*. There is nothing like *minor miscarriage* it's all or none process.
This cycle because of your extra physical activities and rush and not to mention you were not thinking about ttc your cycle returned to somewhat original lenght, not surprising. Rather this enforces me to consider delay in last three cycles is due to your overstress that is known to affect not only ovulation but also delay luteal phase.
I hope you understand the point in right spirit. I got scared when I saw your *sad* face but after reading it I realized you misused icon because you are not indeed miscarried and you should be using a *question* icon for such concern.

RE:Planning for a baby!
Hey, Hope you are doing well. Well don't Worry. Somethings are unplanned. You don't need to worry about it. When there will be right time for it, You will conceive. there is no fixed right time. Right time begins when we decide to do something. You just have to make your mind for it. And prepare yourself for it. Every time is right time. Don't take so much stress.
