Hi

Had a c-sec the first time..so can give some info. the food is mostly soft foods after the surgery, else if all is fine..u can be just like normal delivery folks. I didn' t feel anyway different, just had to be at hospital for 2-3 days which was a blessing went thru the nursing process properly with advice everyday with the lactation nurse so was more helpful and plus could get rest with the nurses avl.
food was great too. so no complains, had no after effects of aches/pains/backaches..so seemed just like normal delivery.
Baby was fine too..traditional med should be ok after the first 2-3 day ask the doc in india..will know more.
Take care.
Radhika

i have heard that the recovery time from a c-section is a little longer when compared to natural birth..u need to take more rest and care since u have gone through an operation..

other than that, rest of the things would apply irrespective of the type of delivery..i dont have much info myself as I am first time mom too and due in mid-aug..will share as and when i get to know..
take care..

Hi Sg,
Almonds are good for babies and you can give them so happily but it would be better give them by making it as milk. But in initial you give baby in minimum quantity then later increase the quantity.... - Siri [View Message]
