Archie, if you don't mind, help me clear another doubt of mine...which I discovered recently. Last time when I detected the surge, I repeated the test in the evening( as per your instructions)- but the intensity & colour of the surge line was exactly similar as was noted in the afternoon...now what should I make of it ? There was no noticeable change in the colour...neither it was darker nor lighter than noted in the afternoon. And I made sure not to have too much of liquid before testing and didn't urinate for 3.5 hours before testing(I did the same thing in the afternoon also, when I saw the surge first time)...still there was no difference in the colour. Can you shed some light on it ?

Plus, one more thing that I noticed was- I had plenty of CM the next day,(saw the surge twice on thursday and had enough CM on friday)...and there was a slight increase in temperature on friday( by 0.3 degrees), although the significant thermal shift occured on sunday(I must have been ovulated by then) - What should I interpret from these observations ?

God bless you. archie replied. the repeat of opk is suggested because,
if in the afternoon it was just the LH was appearing in urine thenone would expect it would get darker. But if it was indeed really dark then less likely you would see a difference in the night. Perhaps you can get positive teat on next day though that can be weaker.
It only meant that the day you repeated test was the surge day and not late or early to the surge detection.

you found cm on friday and high temp on sunday indicate ovulation between friday and saturday.
