Hi, I have a question. My skin type is normal to dry types and someone suggested that daily I should follow this routine wanted to double check:
Cleanser(daily) or polishing scrub(once in a month)
A mask
Toner
Moisturiser

I also want to know what does each do to your face step by step which the person who suggested me could not explain...... Jo Prabhu replied. My suggestion:

Daily: Wash your face with mild liquid soap, apply toner,then Sun Block with moisturizer under your make-up.

Weekly: Wash, use a mild scrub, apply a home mask, rinse, tone, sunblock, makeup.

Monthly: Get a face scrub and a facial at a salon, which could include a mask or a light glycolic peel, Sun Block with moisturizer. No make up for at least 8 hours. Allow your skin to breathe.

Scrubs gently remove dead skin cells, activating blood flow allowing the skin to slough and breathe. Mild scrubs can be done daily with your skin routine, but deep scrubs should only be performed by a licensed esthetician once a month.

Masks tighten and soothe the skin and should be done at home once a week and at a salon once a month or so.

Moisturers soothe and soften the skin. Always use a Sun Block or Sun Screen most of which also have moisturizers.

Here are some Do's and Don'ts:

Do not use block soap. Use a liquid cleanser instead or a store bought product. Wash once in the morning with cold water and always again before you go to bed at night.
