Due Date Club October 2003:Message from Radhika's Husband

Name: Radhika N On Tuesday 21st October, Radhika delivered a beautiful baby girl.
We named her ANUSKHA.
It all started when Radhika started having backpains 20th, Monday morning 5 a.m. She started getting contractions every 8 minutes by 8 a.m. By 10 a.m. the contractions were every 5 minutes. I then took her to the hospital. She was admitted immediately. She was trying for a delivery without the pain killer.

By 3.pm she was dialated 5 cms. The doctor broke her bag then. She was in terrible pain. By 6pm she was 7 cms. dialated. There was no progress after that. At 11 pm , she decided to take epideral. But within an hour of taking the pain killer, the doctor decided to do a c-section because the head of the baby was still not low enough.

Anushka was born at 00:59 hrs. Her weight is 7.79 pnds.
She has a lot of hair on her head. All the nurses' and docotor's attending her was surprised of the hair on her head. With the small beautiful eyes and thick black hair she was looking like someone from a Chinese judo movie.

Radhika will be released tomorrow from the hospital.

Hi Radhika,
congrats on ur lil girl Anushka...looks like we both were on labour on the same day and ended up having c/sec.. i hope we will recover soon...take care...convey my wishes to praveen for getting into parenthood....
