hi priya,
i stpped boiling water for tofu or pasta, as it was too time consuming.. in cooker, water upto level that pastas are covered fully plus another inch extra water, and xact 4 whistles..more whistles make some shapes of pastas like rubber.
i give nirja pasta with vegie sauce (make sauce of your baby fav vegie ) nd give the pastas dipped in that sauce. pasta in tomato sauce (boiled, seedless tomatoes, with cheese or ghee in it,some salt/sugar ),
in alll pasta dishes,do put a dash of italian seasonings.
its not a spice, not a flovring, it acts like our turmeric or hing, pastas are semolina/durum wheat product, too gassy,,good to put a light dash of italian seasoning for ease in digestion.
other than that, cheese and macroni/pasta,salty or banana baked dish(bake it at 350,with cheese sauce or with white sauce and bananas),or just plain boiled pasta with boiled vegies, strifried pastas(boil, and saute them with fav vegies).nirja doesnt eat rice-dal at all, to make her eat that, i make big pasta shells, some salt, italian seasoning, and when i feed her, i put dal rice in those shells..she eats it that way.or else she''ll gag it.also, adding pastas to pulav or khichadi has worked for me pretty well.
i hv given these so far....
abt dosa,i soak 1 cup of urad dal to 4 cups of rice (for lighter version,i make) or 2 cups of rice(actual recipe). soak togther for upto 4-8 hours..though my mil told to soak for 6 hours,i soak for 8-9 hours, as its easy to grind for mixers avilable here! after soaked, grind to coarse but smooth consistency.. add salt, and let it ferment in the OFF oven until to get a good frothy fermentation, almst to the double sized of wat you kept before fermentation.i often forget so i mark my container with some pen to check on it. if lil ferment has not taken place after 4 hours, slowly stir ONLY ONCE and again let it rest to ferment for 4 hours, once fermented, make them.

hp this was helpful.DOES NEBODY HAVE COOKER VERSION OF RAAGI recipes..PLEASE PASS IT ON.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
