Dear Vidhya,

Although you have addressed your query to \";Jaya\";, but I thought I would give a quick reply.

Based on my personal experience, preseed does not reduce any pain....it is just a lubricant. Since KY jelly and other brands are not recommended while ttc, therefore Preseed is advised for those who don't have natural or enough lubrication and want to conceive..it is spposed to be a sperm friendly lubricant.

And for your query on xylocaine- it is a prescription drug in the US. You can not buy it over the counter.

And one more thing- you may still get pregnant without deep penetration, provided your vaginal envoirnment is good & your partner's sperm count & motility is normal. But I understand, for the pleasure part, you need to have full penetration. I suggest you seeing a gynec- she may prescribe you the medicine that you are looking for.

Wish you good luck for conception.

You are right Xylocaine is prescription drug, I was seeing canadian website probably and thought you get it online here in US with prescription. Only one thing to differ though Preseed is so much better than KY jelly with regard to pain!!! Just my experience!

Dear Jaya,

Yeah, even I have heard that preseed works better than KY and other brands, but I myself didn't feel any difference as far as the pain thing is concerned(again its my personal experience...it may vary from person to person)...but otherwise it is a well known lubricant- no doubt about it ! Let's see...Vidhya may also like it :-).

I have also seen some websites who sell Xylocaine online, but I am not sure about their accuracy and all...and moreover I think buying such drugs online without a prescription is not legal....just my opinion !

How'z everything else on the conception front :) ? Hope you get a BFP sooooooooon.

Lots & lots of luck !!
