Hi All
Can you help me , Nihu is having a bad cough since 2 weeks , have been giving her FLISTIN and now she is on antibiotic, but no relief, its pathetic seeing her cough badly that too when she just had bottle of milk and she vomits everything, what do you guys give your kids in case of cough.

for Tia too..she was prescribed Amoxicillin since she also had ear infection in her left ear...but try Vicks,humidifier & try steaming the bathroom & letting her in there(you can do by runnign the hot water tap at maximum to create a sauna like effect & then letting you rbaby in..helps congestion & phlegm..& also try a second opinion as Padma suggested..no cold should stay as it is for this long..it may travel to th elungs..all the best & hope all this helps..

Which Doc are you seeing? And why is the cough not responsing even ot anti-bio's? I'm so scared of these that i have switched doctors just 'coz they prescribed anti-biotics for Kich.

Does she have any spit-up or phlegm in the vomit. Get it tested yaar and see another doc for a second opinion.

I take Kichu to Dr. Sharmila Asthana at Apollo, Vikrampuri - 27895555. She's really nice and doesnt prescribe anything, if she can. And she gives you her cell number too so that you can even call in case of emergency..

So bad for Nihu. Keep giving her lukewarm liquids and try to releive her throat/chest with some hot compress.

She'll get well soon.. Dont worry.

She's prescribed a syrup called Zyrcold whne Kich had a bad case of cough last time.

It Cetrizine basically and as good as an antibiotic.

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
