Sorry about not writing..have recently revisiting the site & have caught on all the chit -chat ..also the reminder call from Reena helped..

I actually went thru' a roller coaster last month..Tia came down with a bad case of stomach flu w/diarhea-vomitting-acute rash+diaper rash(b'coz of the diarhea)in the first week of Sept(after 3 hours of Day care !!..expected but when it hits yourbaby,it kind of kills you )..Tapash & me both were on leave running from doc to doc,hospital to hospital.(believe me I was sooo fed up w/the docs here in this gaon that for every query I was on my NY doc who used to sweetly & patiently answer all the queries even at 9pm on sunday unlike yaha ke doc who didn't even pick up the phone on the weekened..infact my ny doc(DR.Desai) asked us to move Tia to ER...
neyays after all that \";jhod-bisti\";(storm-rain..in bangla)she came down w/the friendliest of all issues ...the common cold..thanks to all her 15 friends at the day care...it was ok to a point that she stopped gaining weight,her hetherto tension free apetite fell down & she became a cranky baby..so Mamma dearest went on a week long leave again to recouperate her ..so right now she is ok..the nosey & the cough is still lingering but much better..

Also on the other hand,my Dadi passed away(actually my g'father passed away last sept.& my dadi just wanted to go away to so it was kind of expected but still unexpected since she too like my Dadu was illness free & everything happened overnite)..& I was to attached to both my g'parents..so it has been very rough...also my new job..just like all new jobs in the beginning are a little bumpy...

Good news mein..well Tapash bid adieu to our cosy 2 door coupe(Honda)& welcomed a black Mercedes !!!& my miniature roses have graced my front porch thanks to the robust east sun I get ...

I would like to know about the updates on all the kiddos..so if it is ok can someone just sum everything up /can everyone just put in 2-3 lines ???

That must have been an ordeal! Poor Tia! Love and Hugs to u two! Anyhow, I don't think I can add anything more to what Paddu has written. So sweet of her, she can given the entire boards' updates.
We are going to CA for hubby's conference and will come back only on tue night. Will catch up more later!

Grrrreat to hear from you but I was so angry for getting us worried with your continued silence. I am sorry for your dadi and Tia's illness and could understand how it must have been. Rishi was also unwell for sometime as Paddu said and now he is ok but has caught a very bad cold.

Post latest pics of Tia. And also of your mercedes!!! Congrats on that!

Tia must be walking now with support I think. Rishi is standing with support and also trying to walk with support. His eating habits are a bit ok now (touchwood) and loved dosa, idli and rasam. Have to buy next stages of cerelac for him.

Now that you have written, do continue writing on the board. This board is getting silent and its so sad.

So bad about Tia's troubles, your dadi's passing and Congrats on the Merc!! Wow.. After all the storm, such a great gift from your hubby na? Does this mean you'll extend your stay in US till this mortgage is over too.. i remember you were saying that you plan to come back to amchi mumbai sometimes..

Rishi had been through a bad phase with tummy problems too.. with some scary hosp experience etc.

Reens says Rishu is still Rishu and is not eating still.. But he's acheived some major milestones and has three teeth. You'd have caught up over ph.

Raj is chilling in Mangalore with her folks. Sid was jetlagged and all but guess dada dadi's pampering is doing him tons of good. He's anyway the leader of the pack and has reached most milestones ahead of time..

Komal's sis marriage is just over (if i get the dates right) and she was having a blast catching up on her sleep and getting Megs bond with her granps. We're all waiting for the 'decked up' pics.

Few messages back you can read about Diya's elbow issue (best you read it, 'coz we'd all better be careful) and about Ruby's stint at the ER due to low BP and Low pulse rate.. Bad times...

Naveena, Vandana and Sanghamitra have entered their kiddos into the photo contest..

We've no news on Maurni or Vrisa. It's as if they vamooosed (like you). Ditto with Jayashree and Chaya.

And about Kichu.. He's become very naughty and is just too lazy to crawl. He wants to stand up now, but wont try. He was also on some tummy related stuff and is still on some medicine. Blabbers non stop and says 'Bow' when he hears the nbr dog. Says 'Ambo' (short of Ambotty kiddie-speak for God) when we light the lamp.

What news about Tia ? (Other than he troubles) Has she started walking/speaking? And how long do you send her to day care? You've a lot of updates pending dear so better get cracking!!
