hi, i was struggling to make raagi, this one finally worked for me on satrday.i used laxmi brand raagi flour, it was clean.
1 tblspn of ragi flour, 1 tbsp of rice flour,1 glss of water or milk.for thicker consistency, add more raagi.
recipe--in a vessel, take the flour in a cup, add water/milk slowly, mixing it into smooth paste. Heat another vessle, until the water/milk boils, and then add the dissolved flour solution slowly to the boiling water (milk), stirring it with a spoon or egg beater to avoid the formation of lumps. If you add the flour mix drectly to water before the boiling stage, the flour will separate and you have to throw it away (which happened to me alot), so wait for water (milk) to start boiling, then add the flour mix(flour mixed with water/milk).
Reduce the heat and boil it for 5 mts, stirring occasnlly. Add sugar or jaggery per your taste and pinch of cardamom (elaichi) powder.
since i dont plan to give jaggery or sugar(ne rtficial sweetness) for another 6 months to nirja, i added banana puree to it.she liked that. plain raagi malt was heavy for nirja, so i gave her raagi with rice flour.actual recipe doesnt have rice flour.
hope this helps.
Hetal
ps. off for the day. good day all of you.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
