Hi girls. Wonder if u missed me..I sure missed you all loads!
15th morning I felt water leak and had blood show. I thought baby's water went. Contractions were only 1 in ten mins, so took some time and then went to the hospital. They kept me all day for observation, did two internals (eeks). First one, midwife said 5 cm dilated, I was impressed. 4 hrs later, another midwife, with bigger hands did internal, and said only 3- 4 cm dilated...frustrated and disappointed, came back home in the evening!!

They said the water only went behind baby's head so can wait 3 days before taking action...so went home and sat up all night as the pain was really bad, contractions all night long. Then, come morning went for a long walk on Sunday, 16th , coming back lower abdomen was hurting severly but contractions were still 10 mins apart. So not expecting much, called hospital, said come for a regular heart and pulse check for babes and nothing will happen today, so went without most of the stuff, left in car, thinking the visit was going to last about 40 mins.

The third midwife said, if nothing has happened, we can do internal and u can come again on Monday and get induced, to avoid infection. I was like, here I was getting induced 24th and now things started naturally and still I will have to get induced. This time the midwife was very good though and gentle too, she did internal and water broke. I was 6 cm dilated, took help with gas and air when pain got severe, went in the birthing pool and tough job......but within 3 hrs from start to finish I delivered my baby girl, Shreya and the size, 4.2 kgs..9 pounds n 5 ouch. Did without any epidural and avoided stiches too, though have tear and uterus will take long to recover.

Well, like Hetal on Sunday my daughter arrived and on the same day as my sister's b'day!

And yes, didn't want to tell so late, but my family is complete too, my 4 yr old daughter Shaleen is elated being a big sister..jealous though!!

Mom in law came back this morning and came to collect me from the hospital.

So though nearly two days of pain......the gain at the end is beautiful!

Oh it`s two days process it`s realy tuff but the gain is always forget the pain Right? By the now you must be recover littel bit and Busy busy with Shreya Right ?
How is the health of shreya.
oh now yr family is also complete theat a good news but now i surprised that how u manage all this? with baby upto last time u do a job realy i am impress too. when ever u hv a time share your shreya photo and else about her

Its so wonderful to know of ur lil' baby Shreya. You know, even though whatever happened with my baby, I too felt all the pains were worth it.
I don't know why ppl feel they don't want to go through the trouble.

This is such good news! I was beginning to wonder why there was a sudden halt in the delivery news.

Congrats on a normal delivery. I am glad that your m-i-l is there to take care of you. That must have been a great relief.

Hope you recover soon from the tears. I am glad that the waiting game ended naturally for one of our board members. Hope to hear the same from everyone who are still waiting.
