Hi all,

I am a first time mom to be. My mother says I have to get my nipples checked before delivery. Do I have to ask for this? Or the every doc does this at the last stage? Is it really necessary? I dont have any leakage yet.

Hi there,

Based on what I know, only if you have inverted nipples should you get it checked...flat or normal nipples do not cause a problem in breastfeeding...there is some treatment for inverted nipples that can help.

My Ob did not ask for it..

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
