Hi all
Have been wanting to write to you all for over a week now. But life has become too hectic.

2 weeks ago I was offered a job in an IT firm startup company, without any interview (can u believe it), but pure hear-say from one of my ex-peers. I wasn't planning on taking it initially, coz of my surgery. I mentioned to them abt my surgery and imme they said they will set me up to work from home for those 6 weeks. And I needed a change too. So took it up.

Then we started day care hunting, in dire need and we found one where my husband works. It is a 30 mt ride, though. Kaaustaaub will go full time there from Oct 1. In the meantime they will acco him M, W and Thurs there. They have a branch across my home and acco him Tue and Fri.

It was a whole emotional affair for the entire family. He started last Monday. Mon and Tue were bad.They were stuck in the traffic for 45mts on MOnday. He cried through out the day and started having his cold. He took an off on Wed, and hubby baby sat him. On Thurs and Friday he got better, but went on a hunger strike. Now it is getting better, but he drinks milk only from sippy cup and not from the bottle. So it takes forever.

We need to pack his diapers, milk and emergency food. Lunch is provided. The people are really so good and take good care. Also, we can watch them online. So, that's pretty good. I watched an old woman rock him to sleep for an hour patienty. And I knew he was in safe hands.

During the weekend we got him to meet some friend's kids and on seeing them he started crying, coz he thought it was the day care and that we would leave him behind. Then when we started playing & he got ok.

He started some terrible diaper rash since last night, and would cry on applying the diaper rash cream, and hence the entire family was at home today. Took him to the doc and she has given a new medicine and he is better now. Need to find out how he does this week.

am sure K will get adjusted very well to the day care soon...liked teh concept of seeing online...thatmust give uimmense relief...

Great to hear your update yaar. Esp since i'll have to look at day care some few months from now. It must've been hard on him and you.

How was your surgery and how's recovery?

Which day care center and where is this that they're streaming online footage?

Too many Q, but i guess i'm anxious.
