Hi friends,

Had a hectic yet enjoyable vacation at chennai. Did check messages from there but had no time to reply. Sad to see that there were not many messages too. I know, moms must be busy with running behind the chotus.

We decided to give Rishi's hair in the temple and did it!!! He looks cute is what everybody say, but I want his hair to grow back very soon :) not that he had so much before!! His ears are showing even bigger now. Have posted a couple of snaps in the januarymommie 'rishi' album, do have a look.

He cried when the person in the temple took off his hair, but he was easily diverted after that. He cried during his bath also.

I applied for my passport (do u guys believe that I don't have one till date - lazy me) and we registered our marriage. I went to his ped and he said his weight gain is so poor. He has gained 200gms in the past two months, can you believe it? He is only 6.7gms. I have started giving him rice and dal now with mashed carrots. He is also taking boiled apple and mashed banana. What else to give him for weight gain? We also gave his blood for test and he screamed when they took blood, it was horrible. However his Ca levels are normal and so I am relieved. Doc still doesn't want me to give him milk/formula. its tough to feed him. He sucks so hard and bites (thank God he is not teething) and sometimes he wants to latch emotionally even when he is not hungry and creates a big scene. When to wean?

Raj, great to know Sid is standing without support. Rishi is sitting now without support but doesn't do that often. He stands with support for a few seconds. Have a safe trip to India. How long will you be here? Mail me your numbers. And how is Sush? Did you manage to talk to her? Do write ok.
