Name: Latika I just moved to Edison,NJ.I am 23 weeks pregnant and looking for a good ob/gyn here. Can sombody plz suggest a good ob/gyn. Need the response urgently. Plz help.

Hello guys,
I just mean to get you aware. I had a very bad experiemnce with kirit patel during my delivery. He probably is not very well verse with normal delivery being a high risk obgyn.He was just ready for a C-section for me and if I did not have a good nurse I would have had a C.Be very clear in telling him what you want.I had told him I did not want a C section or episiotomy but I got the later anyways.He also offers not much encouragement during delivery.So have your hubby ,mom,a good nurse nearby.He also changed the hospital when I actually had almost reached my chosen hospital.That seems to be common with him.

have u gone to ob/gyn.i heard Dr.D.Desai is good.even i am 12week pregnant, going to Dr.Ghanekar. but i am not sure everybody will like her. if you have not been to anyone till now then i would suggest u to go for Dr.Desai.

Hi kalpana,

Thanx a lot for taking out ur time and for providing the information. I am definatelty convinced that Dr Gahnekar is not the one as few other ladies have also told me that she is smtimes very rude. Lets see which one I finalise. Will do it in next 10 day max. thanx a bunch again. take care.

A few good DRs in NJ

Hi Latika,
I am 8 weeks preg, 2 nd time and seeing Dr kirit patel.with my 1st pregnancy, last july I was seeing Dr.Ghanekar I was not comfy with her.. she is rude some times. doesnot answer ur questions properly.. And another Dr I have most heard of are Dr sangeeta Dave,Dr sengupta. Check with ur insurance ahead.
