Hi All
I hope all celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi well, this time was special as it was Nihu's first one, had tough time getting all dishes prepared ontime, myself and MIL had to prepare 11 kinds of sweets n hots , my FIL took care of Nihu, ever since she became mobile and has understood the freedom of moving around, no one is able to catch her, however , when its eating time, she quietly sits down , which I find quite amusing.
I see that lot of the mommies here having trouble feeding, I would suggest , you make the feeding session more playful, talk to your baby, sing songs, put all their fav toys, and slowly feed, my MIL is going back to village as she has some work , Im also shifting my house this month end near to my office and my mom's place, have to make her get used to my mom, during weekends we do visit my mom, but she is more attached to my MIL, donno know how we will manage her.
she will also miss all the kids in my flats , their are around 10 kids who come and play with nihu everyday. and she is so excited seeing them.

Usha Tweetie replied. good job is celebrating well...that's quite a number of items...it's more enthu in India to celebrate than it is over here...
I miss the way little ones get so much company from neighbouring kids and elders likewise...tiny tots are so much adored by everyone...it's very healthy to bring Nihu up with lots of people around.
